Detailed Tour Itinerary
Arrival to Guwahati, (4 hours of journey) and proceed to Shillong. Reach Shillong by evening. Overnight stay there.
Leave for Cherrapunjee early in the morning post breakfast, enroute visiting Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls . On reaching Cherrapunjee explore Mawsmai Caves, Naaukalikai Falls, Bangladesh View Point etc. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Mild trekking upto Living Root Bridge and explore the area. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
( 250 KMS/8-9 HRS): Form Cherrapunji, we visit Mawlynlong- the cleanest village of Asia. From Mawlynlong, we move directly to Nameri. On reaching Nameri we check in at Nameri Eco Camp. Overnight in Nameri.
(180 Kms/5-6 Hrs): Morning drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 1000 Orchids. Overnight in Bomdila.
(180Kms/7-8Hrs): Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colorful tribals, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake Overnight in Tawang.
We start the day by exploring the Tawang Monastery. Drive up to PT Shu Lake then return to visit Tawang War Memorial. Overnight at Tawang
(180 Kms/7-8 Hrs): Early in the morning we drive to Jang in Tawang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive to Bomdila. Overnight stay in Bomdila.
(170 Kms/7-8 Hrs): Drive back to Kaziranga, enroute visiting Nag Mandir . Overnight in Kaziranga.
Elephant Ride in the morning . Afternoon Jeep safari . Overnight in Kaziranga.
(220 Kms/4 Hrs): Explore nearby tea estates and nearby villages. After Lunch proceed to Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
Airport/Railway Transfers will be arranged as per the flight schedule of the passenger.
